Pure helpers (parseWorkingHours, getWorkingHoursForDate, specialtyMatch, overlaps, scoreCandidate) + DB-backed functions (getCandidates, isAvailable, pickBestSlotEmployee, autoAssign, runInTransaction). Hard constraint: no overlap with existing (scheduled,completed) appts + within working-hours window.
